On December 1, 2018 Normandy American Cemetery will welcome volunteers from Wreaths Across America to lay more than 9,000 wreaths in the cemetery. These balsam wreaths, shipped to France from Maine, serve as a visual tribute to the fallen in the midst of the holiday season. That same day, U.S.

ABMC hosted a ceremony at ABMC’s Honolulu Memorial to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Tarawa and to rededicate the memorial, which recently underwent a significant restoration project.

Chateau-Thierry American Monument hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. The ceremony was organized by the town of Chateau-Thierry. Attendance was free and open to the public.
