The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) dedicated two new pavilions at the Honolulu Memorial on Sunday, November 11, 2012.
The 2,500-square-foot center will honor those who fought in the World War II campaign of Sicily to the Liberation of Rome.
The existing visitor center will double in size to 3,580 square feet in order to accommodate a new exhibit gallery and theater space.
The 4,000-square-foot center will honor the men and women who participated in the Battle of the Atlantic, the Strategic Air Campaign, and the build-up to the D-Day Normandy invasion.
