U.S. Marines participated in the 2016 Veterans Day Ceremony at North Africa American Cemetery.

North Africa American Cemetery hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., under the auspices of the U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia Daniel Rubenstein, and Commander of U.S. Army Africa Gen. Joseph Harrington. Tunisians and Americans joined together for this ceremony to honor our veterans. During the ceremony, USARAF Commander, Maj. Gen. Joseph Harrington noted "The individuals buried here exemplify heroism and self-sacrifice. These are the same characteristics found in a select group of American citizens," said Harrington. "These citizens are America's veterans."
