Green grass and white headstones cover the ground at Netherlands American Cemetery.

The 2013 Veterans Day Ceremony at Netherlands American Cemetery included a wreath-laying, and guest remarks. Participants included the AF North International School Air Force JROTC, and children's choir. This ceremony honored the sacrifices of the more than 9,000 individuals that are buried or memorialized at this site.
