Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 4 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public.
If you are a family member of someone who is honored at the cemetery and you are planning to attend the ceremony, please email the cemetery at least two weeks prior to the event.
Due to recent weather conditions, parking space has been reduced. Here is what you need to know:
- Parking passes will no longer allow registered guests to park in the cemetery parking lots. These spaces will be reserved for individuals with limited mobility.
- Alternative parking lots will be available for visitors. Please refer to the images below to see alternative parking options.
- Shuttle transport will be provided from Aubel and Henri-Chapelle (see pictures below for detail). Please follow the "Memorial Day P + Bus" signs.
- The cemetery parking area will only be accessible to florists before 2 p.m.
For any questions regarding the ceremony, please feel free to contact our cemetery staff.
Thank you for your understanding. We are grateful to the towns of Plombières, Welkenraedt, Aubel and Thimister-Clermont and to the local Police for their help in this last-minute change.
