Notes
Commander Stoddard was a member of Attack Squadron 25, Carrier Air Wing 2 aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS CORAL SEA (CVA-43). On September 14, 1966, he was the pilot of a Douglas Attack Skyraider (A-1H) over North Vietnam when his aircraft crashed at Cua Lo Estuary, Nghi Thiet Village. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
