Lance Corporal Plumadore was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On September 21, 1967, he was wounded while fighting the enemy near Dong Ha, Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam. He was left behind. His remains were recovered on June 20, 1996 and identified on October 23, 2002. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
