Lance Corporal Ogden was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. On October 18, 1967, he was killed by small arms fire while fighting the enemy in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
