Commander Krusi was a member of Heavy Attack Squadron 8, aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS CONSTELLATION (CVA-64). On November 3, 1967, he was the pilot of a Tanker Aircraft (KA-3B) going on a mission. On takeoff the aircraft crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
