Staff Sergeant Krausman was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. On March 16, 1968, he was declared missing while traveling in an assault boat in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
