Electrician's Mate Third Class Hyde, U.S. Naval Reserve, was a crew member of Aggressive Class Minesweeper USS DYNAMIC (MSO-432). On December 5, 1965, he fell overboard and drowned. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
