USNA Class of 1950, Lieutenant Junior Grade Hudson was the pilot of an AD-3 Skyraider dive bomber with Attack Squadron 125 (923) aboard the carrier USS ORISKANY (CVA-34). On December 22, 1952, while attacking enemy facilities in the Hwangsuwon-ni area (Songjin, North Korea), his aircraft was struck by anti-aircraft fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
