Notes
Lieutenant Haas was a member of Attack Squadron 155, Carrier Air Wing 19 aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS ORISKANY (CVA-34). On July 17, 1972, he was the pilot of a Vought Attack Aircraft Corsair II (A-7B) on a night surveillance mission near Vinh, Nghe An Province, North Vietnam when his aircraft crashed into the sea. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
