Notes
Sergeant George was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near Hoengsong, South Korea on February 12, 1951. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were recovered on October 5, 2001 and identified on December 6, 2010. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
