Notes
Corporal Galarneau was a member of Headquarters Battery, 57th Field Artillery Battalion, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded and taken Prisoner of War near Hagaru, North Korea on December 6, 1950. He died of those wounds as a prisoner on December 20, 1950. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. CPL Galarneau's remains have been recovered and identified.
