PFC Bronzyna's died during the Invasion of Tarawa Atoll. His remains were recovered from battlefield temporary burial site on Betio Island in 2015. PFC Bronzyna's remains were identified in 2016. PFC Bronzyna is permanently interred at Arlington National Cemetery at Fort Myer, VA. His name is permanently inscribed at the World War II Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, HI.
