Captain Blew was a member of Battery C, 17th Field Artillery Battalion, IX Corps. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy west of Maco-Ri Valley, North Korea on October 21, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
