Notes
Captain Bezold was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 94th Artillery Regiment. 108th Artillery Group. On October 29, 1968, he was the observer in a Cessna Bird Dog Observation Aircraft (O-1G) adjusting artillery fire at the Demilitarized Zone over North Vietnam when his aircraft hit another helicopter and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
