Notes
Private First Class Benedett was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On May 15, 1975, he was passenger in a Sikorsky Sea Stallion Cargo Helicopter (CH-53) over Cambodia waters when it crashed. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. PFC Benedett's remains have been recovered and identified.
