Notes
Lieutenant Commander Bartocci was a member of Fighter Squadron 24, Carrier Air Wing 21, U.S. Navy aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS HANCOCK (CVA-19). On August 31, 1968, he was the pilot of a Vought Crusader Fighter (F-8H) attempting a carrier night landing, when his aircraft crashed into the sea. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
