John Anderson (alias John Colston) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1885. He moved to the Canal Zone so that he could work as a clerk in the Building and Construction Division, Isthmus Canal Company. He was living in Cristobal. Panama. He died on May 18, 1906 at the Colon Hospital. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
