James Edward Ambrose was born in Pennsylvania on March 12, 1912. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was promoted to Sergeant in the 25th Bomber Squadron at France Field, Canal Zone. After the War he remained in Panama. He died on August 4, 1961. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
