Private First Class Robert E. D. Allen was born in the Canal Zone on January 31, 1936. He enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to Headquarters, 793rd Military Police Battalion in Germany. He died while on active duty on August 21, 1961. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then re-interred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
