Harry John Ailant was born in the Unites States on July 18, 1906. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was promoted to Sergeant. He served during World War II. After the War he moved to the Canal Zone and worked for the Panama Canal Company. After retirement, he remained in Panama City. He died on November 21, 1980 at the Centro Medico Paitilla, Panama and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
