On April 25, 1951, Lieutenant Junior Grade Stuart was the pilot of a twin engine Beechcraft trainer flying out of the Naval Air Station, Key West, Florida. His aircraft struck a four-engine commercial transport enroute from Miami to Havana, Cuba. Four Naval crewman and 23 American civilians perished. |
