Aviation Electrician's Mate, Third Class Frostman was a member of Aircraft Carrier USS Rendova, CVE 114. He was snorkeling on October 18, 1952 off an island near Iniwetok in a restricted area for swimming only and an LSD took a short cut and ran over him. He died October 28, 1952 at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.
