Sergeant First Class Sell was a medic of the Medical Company, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded in South Korea on August 9, 1950 and returned to duty on August 29, 1950. He was seriously wounded again while tending his wounded comrades in North Korea on December 1, 1950 and died of those wounds on December 31, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
