Sergeant Peaschek was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 7, 1950 and returned to duty on September 9, 1950. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on February 13, 1951. He was presumed dead on January 14, 1954. His remains were not recovered. |
