Private First Class Kigar was a medic with Company E, 2nd Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while tending his wounded comrades at "Pork Chop Hill" in North Korea on July 8, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
