Captain Jones was an advisor with the 8202nd Army Unit, 1542nd Korean Military Assistance Group. He was taken Prisoner of War while advising the South Koreans in North Korea on October 18, 1952 and died while a prisoner on May 29, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
