Private First Class Stuckey was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade. On November 11, 1967, he was on a search and destroy mission, in Kontum Province, South Vietnam, when he was killed in action. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
