Lieutenant Brice, U.S. Naval Reserve, was a member of Fighter Squadron 33, Carrier Air Wing 6 aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS AMERICA (CVA-66). On June 4, 1968, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4J) over North Vietnam when the plane crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
